Bremen (dpa) - Quallen werden in Europa nicht gegessen; den Badegästen an Nord- und Ostsee gelten die Medusen als unangenehme, manchmal sogar giftige Plage. Trotzdem erforscht das Leibniz-Zentrum für Marine Tropenforschung (ZMT) in Bremen, ob nicht künftig die vermehrungsfreudigen Quallen als Nahrung genutzt werden können.
