The defendant was determined to remain in power. so, for more than two months following the election day on november 3rd, 2020, the defendant spread lies that there had been outcome determinative fraud in the election and that he had actually won. that term, which i ve never used before, you may be familiar with, outcome determinative fraud, it s crucial. if you make the argument into the ether that some dead people vote and some people who live in other states vote, and some people vote twice, all of those things may be true, the thing you, as a secretary of state, have to be concerned about, is it true a lot? what a change the outcome of an election? and is there some sort of structural problem with that happening? or does it happen in the course of things? the outcome determinative part of this is relevant. yeah, it s key. of course, anytime there is any wrongdoing, outcome determinant or not, we want to get to the bottom of it and hold people accountable. we ve done that in michi
