Deliver for two more weeks got the surprise of her life. her 8-year-old daughter came to the rescue. edward lawrence of our tampa affiliate has the story. a big smile on his face. reporter: all births are memorable but joseph james schneider s birth became a family affair. i was in the bathroom, and my water broke. i yelled for her, jasmine, grab the cordless phone and dial 911. reporter: 8-year-old jasmine called at 7:02 a.m. my mom s pregnant and her water just broke. she s in so much pain. i was freaking out. i was like, i m home alone with my 8-year-old daughter. what am i going to do? even if i call somebody, they are not going to come quick enough. it happened so fast. reporter: two weeks early, all 5 pounds, 10 ounces of little joseph couldn t wait. they told me to get lots of towels and blankets. reporter: 13 minutes after the 911 call by jasmine started and before paramedics could arrive joseph made his appearance.
