An Acadiana church and barber shop partnered up Saturday to hold a free Christmas event in St. Martinville.
Our Savior s Church and Xclusive Kuts Barber Shop offered haircuts and Christmas photos to individuals or families free of charge ahead of the holiday.
The event was held at the Hope Center in St. Martinville, and was a way for the church and barber shop to give back to those in need.
Jason Louviere, owner of Xclusive Kuts, said he and his business usually offer free back to school haircuts, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced a change of plans this year. Instead, they decided to partner with OSC on Christmas at the Hope Center.
