A Gary woman who shot her neighbor s pregnant sister in the thigh during an argument is entitled to no reduction in her four-year prison term, the Court of Appeals said.
The General Assembly has approved legislation requiring individuals arrested for any of 13 domestic-related offenses to be jailed without bail for at least 24 hours.
