There remains a lot of uncertainty around the theatrical landscape as we head further into 2021, but with the COVID-19 vaccine rolling out across the globe, the future is slowly starting to look brighter.
We ve seen a handful of delays already, though there s hope that the summer could play out relatively similar to a normal year. Many will still be wary of returning to packed screenings, of course, but if the movies are enticing enough.well, that s going to help the box office in a big way.Â

The first official still from Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci” has been released. Lady Gaga (Patrizia Reggiana) and Adam Driver (Maurizio Gucci) star in the film, which tells of the tumultuous Gucci family fashion dynasty and the murder of founder Guccio Gucci’s grandson Maurizio Gucci. The film releases in November.
Peacock has ordered to series ”Dan Brown’s Langdon”, based on the aforesaid author’s “Da Vinci Code” series. Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie will serve as writers and executive producers for the series. Brown, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Samie Kim Falvey and Anna Culp also serve as executive producers.
