While condemning the actions of the Lagos State government and its complicit actors in the heinous #EndSARS Lekki massacre and desperate attempts to cover it, AAC insisted that those responsible for such atrocities must face the full wrath of the law.
The African Action Congress (AAC), Lagos State Chapter is set to unveil Akeem Olayiwola and Ben Eze as its governorship and deputy governorship candidates for the 2023 general elections. The candidates and those vying for legislative seats along with the blueprint will be announced on Saturday at Ikeja in Lagos State. The party asserted that the candidates are coming to show their individual achievements and radical leaps, stressing that they are coming to serve as symbols of the collective ïnterests of both the party and the people.
The African Action Congress in Lagos State has elected new state executives during its congress held on Sunday. The executives were elected in accordance with the party’s constitution and the Electoral Act 2022. A statement by Towolawi Jamiu, former secretary of AAC announced Ayoyinka Oni as the new chairman of the party in the state.
