A citywide chase through New Orleans by Troop NOLA ended Tuesday afternoon with two suspects taken into custody and one civilian injured in Lakeview, Louisiana State Police said.
Joseph C. Davis, 39, a man accused of sexually assaulting two women as they jogged on the Lafitte Greenway on Thursday, was held without bond until his Gwen s Law hearing Tuesday afternoon. Convicted of aggravated assault with a firearm in 2019, he now faces one count of attempted first degree rape and one count of simple battery.
