take a look at everybody that is leaving her office. and by the way, the exit interviews and the statements don t praise the vice president. so that says a lot, doesn t it, steve? steve: indeed. as you like at that image the guy second from the right. vince evans, the deputy director of public engagement and intergovernment affairs he has quit. he is going back to work for the congressional black caucus which he has worked with before. he is the latest in answer go of people who are reporting that she is terrible to work for. here s the thing. forget about her poll numbers actually worse than joe biden or that she said, you know, we didn t see this omicron thing coming. we didn t see any of this stuff coming. brian: or the delta. steve: at this point, you know, given what has been happening over the last year with joe biden. a lot of people would normally be saying you know maybe it s
i want to ask a question. i haven t seen you in a minute. my question for you is, just how were your holidays, nicolle? i ll tell you honestly, they were harrowing. i left northern as this omicron thing that seems to be smothering our city. i was scared that i was going to bring omicron out to where my folks live, out west. we tested. my son sneezed for the first time in 20 months, i had a hard attack, we all tested, everybody was negative, but it was worth it. i think the tricky thing is to take all these smart great scientists and doctors, and all of them said if you re vaccinated, you test before you go, your family is vaccinated, it s safe to gather, but it s still a harrowing moment. even if you shut off your phone, you re aware of this omicron thing. it was great. i m glad i listened to all the
economy. in general, things cost more. i think the way people are really withstanding this economy depends on whether you own assets or not. so right now the average homeowner is worth $255,000 in terms of net worth while the average renter is worth 6, 500. a 40 times difference. while the cost are things are going up, a lot of homeowners are feeling good because they see the value of the assets go up. if people want another job they can get one. but if you re representing, you don t own a lot of stocks, it s a do you have time. the cost of everything is going up. neil: it s interesting, too, scott, if it s rattling the markets, so far it has a funny way of showing it. i know the markets were worried about omicron for a while, how far it was spreading. now the last three winning days we ve wiped out the losses we
contagious. it s calmed a lot of folks since that it is not as bad as they thought but it s just as contagious but they seem to be saying, you know, darn it, i m going to continue with my plans. that was very much in doubt about a month ago. that is surprising. yeah, we ve had the weeks now to see how the rest of the world is faring with omicron. numbers have gone up, but life goes on. the symptoms are not the kinds of symptoms that would necessarily keep you from feeling well, living your everyday life. it is keeping people at bay when it comes to international travel. at the end of the day, if omicron is more transmissable, we ll see a pull back on international travel. not so much that people are getting sick and feeling sick, it s about being stuck on the other side of the border for the ten days or so. rules might change last minute, borders might close last minute. it s the concerns that might
