Sage Thompson adds to one of the most decorated freshman classes in program history, coming to the U as the 2019 Junior Olympic uneven bars national champion. A local standout from Lehi, Utah, Thompson was a three-time Junior Olympic National Championship qualifier (2017-19). Along with her first-place finish on bars in 2019, Thompson finished sixth in the all-around. The year prior, she finished as the J.O. runner up on the uneven bars, while recording a fifth-place finish on vault.
