This is the scene live at narita airport in tokyo where the belarus sprinter krystina simanovskaya is about to board a plane to warsaw. the 24 year old had posted on social media a few days ago that she had been entered in competition by belarus and officials, she refused and they then tried to get her to fly home which she said she did not want to do. subsequently, poland offered her a humanitarian visa and that is where she is due to depart for the next 20 minutes or so. she spent the last night at the polish embassy injapan with police protection and that she was taken to the airport where we are expecting her flight to take off as i say in about 20 minutes.
