mitt romney, who pushed through a similar healthcare overhaul in massachusetts. as you might imagine, i disagree with the supreme court s decision and i agree with the dissent. what the court did not to on its last day in session, i will do on my first day, if elected president of the united states, and that is i will act to repeal obamacare. we will host a discussion on the supreme court decision, the health-care crisis, and the push by many for a medicare for all single payer system. and filmmaker michael moore this really is a huge victory for our side. despite all of my concerns with this law, it did not go far enough, does not cover all americans, it is not true universal healthcare nonetheless, the right wing has been handed a serious defeat today. and what does this decision mean for vermont? which is moving toward becoming the first day with the universal publicly funded single payer health care system? all of that and more coming up. this is democracy now!
