“Belarus is interested in the implementation of projects to modernize the power grid infrastructure, set up electricity storage systems, introduce smart power grids, exchange experience and joint events, promote scientific and technical cooperation,” Olga Prudnikova said.
Olga Prudnikova said: “We've secured certain results in energy independence and technological independence. In the complicated situation around our country we've managed to level out, stay on our feet, and continue our development.”
Plans are in place to continue with the construction of digital substations, projects to provide electronic services to consumers, transition to electronic payments for consumed services, and assimilation of new information security tools.
“Belarus and Russia are set to strengthen interaction in import substitution, including through the establishment of joint productions for items of mutual interest. It seems advisable to consider the introduction of additional measures to support mutual trade between economic entities of the two countries in the Union State,” the deputy minister said.
