Bob lafollett is probably the most important political figure in Wisconsin History and one of the most important in the history of the 20th century of the United States. He was a reforming governor. Interview with Joan Trumpauer mulholland. She recalls taking part in the 1961 freedom rides, attending tougaloo college, and serving at the Mississippi State penitentiary with other activists.
