St. Bernard Sheriff's office says around 3 p.m. Monday deputies attempted to make a traffic stop near the corner of West Judge Perez Drive and Old Hickory Drive in Chalmette.
A 27-year-old Ravena man was sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison for the death of Ahsid Hemingway-Powell in Albany County Court this afternoon.
