STRATTON The Jefferson County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society, has announced its free lecture series schedule will kick off next month.
The chapter’s office is located at 501 Fifth St., Stratton, and is open only on Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m. as of March. Check the website at www.jeffcochapter.com for additional days and hours. Its Facebook page is “Jefferson County Genealogy Society.”
Flora L. VerStraten-Merrin is serving as president of the chapter for 2021. Other office holders are: Rena Goss, vice president; Naomi Furbee, treasurer; Edward Merrin, senior trustee; Tammy Hosenfeld, chair of first and pioneer and Civil War families and query researcher; and Michelle VanDine, newsletter editor. ....
