The Australian Cultural Library invites you to attend the official opening of our permanent home. This event includes multiple activities:10:00am - 12 noon @ ACL Opening, 66 John St- special guest speakers, with MC David Iliffe (ABC Radio)- a walk through of the library's facilities- an art exhibition- a naming ceremony for the Queenslander at the front of the property, the Charles Glenn & Diane Selmon Building- free entry, donations greatly appreciated12 noon @ Rosewood Uniting Church Hall, 21 John St- guest speakers at an exhibition of the Dulcie Mason/Thelma Beutel vintage ball gown collection- NB: the exhibition also runs from 9:00am - 3:00pm- $5 entry- proceeds to Goodwill Op Shop, Rosewood1:00 - 3:00pm @ ACL, 66 John St- live music by Eugene and the Egg- live music by Sue Ray- spoken wordAll ages welcome.
