Argue with you yes or sometimes they make excuses yes and ultimately one of the things that a Police Officer has to do is try to determine is this person. Pretending or trying to give me some excuse not to get arrested or is this person experiencing some other crisis right yes. And ultimately in terms of an arrest thats one of the things that an officer has to ascertain right yes and again when youve arrested people have you had people plead with you not to arrest them yes or have you had people. Say they were having a medical emergency yes or. Would you have you had people say i cant breathe yes or and do you were there circumstances during the course of your career as a patrol officer. Where you didnt believe that that person was having a medical emergency yes sir. And thats all part of the analysis in terms of the use of force right place apart yes and so if someone comes to you and says you know if you tell someone im under arrest one way that a person can resist arrest is through
