Our government do little to help us. And im advocating to those in power to change that. Even in our own communities, people with sickle cell are often treated like an outcast because of misconception and stigma surrounding the disease. I am putting my life on the line to fight this deadly disease. And to dispel the myths that surround it. Sickle cell is not witchcraft, it is not. It is something that we can solve.
