You spoke with him earlier today, who actually was in the mall when it happened, he heard the ricochets and went about his job of evacuating single kids from the shooting area. it was just a surreal experie e experience. chris, you have been there so long i imagine you ve spoken with witnesses from inside. what did they tell you? what were some of the stories they told you about what they experienced and the fear that they felt with this shooter on the loose? issue at first was disbelief. they couldn t believe there was this active shooter. like specialist oaklee said a kid ran by saying there s an active shooter, active shooter and he looked at the clerk and the witnesses looked at each other and then they heard the ricochets of the shots going off and then it became real. and to a appearance that s what we heard from most of these witnesses, disbelief, and it was just a couple of seconds, and when everybody started moving out and moving quickly that s when it hit home for them. a ....
