Stuart Richardson of Glassmonkey Studio, pictured with his dog, Ralph Stuart Richardson first tried his hand at glass fusing nine years ago, after being given a voucher for a workshop as a present. A charity worker at the time, little did he know that the class would lead to him establishing his own business and gallery. Today Stuart, 60, heads up Glassmonkey Studio, a Burnley business that specialises in crafting bespoke art, decorative items and jewellery from glass. The studio has been based in Oak Mount Mill for the last four years. I got hooked, says Stuart, remembering his foray into the craft.
