Banks and credit unions that use Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers to onboard customers without Social Security numbers are seeing sizable growth in loans and deposits from people who might otherwise be unbanked.

Andre M. Woods, 25, 11059 Road 16, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence. He faces up to six-18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 3 p.m. March 4.

Wesley Endicott, 34, 21092 U.S. Route 224, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was established as previously posted while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. March 4.
Dylan B. Okuley, 24, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault. He faces up to 36 months in prison and up to $10,000 in fines. He also pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He faces up to 180 days in jail and up to $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 2:15 p.m. March 1. The state is recommending placemen
