Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston held a summit with provincial health-care leaders Tuesday after two recent deaths of patients who sought help in emergency departments.
In a news release sent Wednesday, the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union said it and the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education received an invitation from the conciliation officer for Local 73 to return to the bargaining table this Friday.
Some employees with the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education and South Shore Regional Centre for Education say they are being treated differently than their colleagues.
