Following data collection from a temporary traffic pattern on Frazier Avenue, Chattanooga is preparing a final recommendation for a permanent redesign of the roadway, city spokesperson Liam Collins said.
Business owners along Frazier Avenue on Chattanooga s North Shore are against reducing the number of lanes on the four-lane roadway, opting instead to advocate for raised intersections for pedestrians to cross on the thoroughfare.
The Northshore Collective, a group representing businesses in the Frazier Avenue area on Chattanooga s North Shore, is set to meet with the city Jan. 17 about the temporary traffic pattern the city has had in place over the past several weeks.
