In late February, the Northern Illinois Drag Boat Association celebrated its 33rd season with an annual awards banquet honoring drivers, families, sponsors, safety crew, and volunteers at the Port of Blarney.
Blarney Island on Grass Lake (Antioch, IL) is the only location in the world where high-performance drag boat racing takes place every Thursday Evening, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The festivals are still going full speed ahead, including Palatine Street Fest, Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts, West Chicago Food Festival, Brookfield Zoo s Zoo Brew and many more.
