In 2015 a series of shootings in Northern Colorado left two men dead, their families and friends grieving, and made residents fearful about whether more would occur. ​June 2023 finally brought a measure of justice for one of the victims as Christopher Parker of Loveland pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 39 years in prison.
