Shotton: Drug issues top list of most concerning for residents

POLICE have identified three main issues affecting Shotton residents. North Wales Police s (NWP) North Flintshire team, with help of local councillors, has surveyed the town s residents about what are the top issues within the community which are affecting them. The top thee issues identified were: 1) Drug Dealing / Drug use 2) Dog Fouling 3) Litter A spokesperson for NWP North Flintshire said: The top issue is a policing issue and in due course we will update you on actions we will take to disrupt drug dealing / issues in the community. The second and third issues are council-related and we will work together with local authorities and the council.

Call for information after Shotton thefts and night-time wheelbarrow use

The call came from the North Flintshire policing team on Wednesday. A spokesman said: Shotton Residents, we want to to let you know that recently, there have been several attempted thefts from motor vehicles and actual theft from motor vehicles within the locality. These reports are being looked into into by several officers. This post is to encourage all local residents to please report any suspicious behaviour whatsoever in the area to us.
