Man, 22, reported missing from Humboldt Park By FOX 32 Digital Staff Published  CHICAGO -  A 22-year-old man has been reported missing from Humboldt Park. Alfredo Montez de Oca Beltran was last seen Saturday around 3 p.m. leaving his home in the 1300 block of North Artesian Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police. Montez de Oca Beltran is 5-foot-3, 140 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and has a medium complexion, police said.

A 21-year-old man was killed in a shooting Thursday in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side. He was in front of a home about 2:35 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Artesian Avenue when someone approached and fired shots at him, Chicago police said. Gerald Kates suffered gunshot wounds to both legs and the abdomen, police said. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
