FUNDRAISING efforts are beginning in Cumbria to bring aid to the people of an East Africa nation. The Kepplewray Centre for Outdoor Activities, located in Broughton-in-Furness co-founded The Bethesda Project which works to support the people of Burundi, one of the world’s poorest countries. A fundraising campaign has been launched to help purchase a 4x4 vehicle for the project so that further support and healthcare can be delivered to the surrounding villages.
