I think ill answer that in a couple of ways. I think before the election there were some pretty obvious areas of Common Ground that could be seized that havent been. So in some ways we dont have to look for new things. There are things that are on the table that both sides support and havent been able to make progress on. A couple of examples beyond the trade example that i just cited. The president nearly two years ago now laid out a common sense proposal for investing in Early Childhood education. This is something that conservati conservati conservative governors across the country implemented in their states to great effect. They are republican governors that dont have anything nice to say about the president i would assume. Theres not a lot of policy agreement but a policy agreement on this issue that early investments in Early Childhood education have a profound impact on the life of a child and strong correlation between participation in a high quality Early Childhood Education
