Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko will continue staying in hospital until his health improves.
Kahawa Law Court Magistrate Diana Mochache directed that he should remain at Nairobi Hospital until he is healthy enough to battle the State, whether he should be held for 30 days in a bid for sleuths to investigate terror claims against him.
In court yesterday, the hospital submitted a report indicating that the former Senator should be closely monitored by a doctor.
At the same time, the court directed that Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) should not interrogate him while in hospital. He will return on February 26 for a mention of his case.

Former Nairobi Governor MIKE SONKO will spend spend five more nights in police cell after court set his bail ruling for next week.
Sonko, who is facing multiple assault charges, spent Wednesday night at the Kamiti Maximum GK Prison where he was whisked to late evening from the Gigiri Police Station where he was previously being held.
This came after an officer from the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) swore an affidavit accusing Sonko of having terror links, hence seeking 30 days to detain him pending investigations.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s may spend up to 30 days in police custody if a court allows an application by the state to detain him in a terrorism probe.
The Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti claims Mr Sonko is financing terrorism activities and is in an advanced stage of procuring arms and ammunition using a secret syndicate.
The in court Kahawa, Nairobi directed that he should appear before a Kiambu court for a bail application ruling today.
And at 2:30pm Sonko will appear before the Kahawa court for the hearing of Kinoti’s application.
