The blast was one of the biggest non nuclear explosions in history. It killed more than 200 people. Outside the lebanese parliament, the Security Forces fired Tear Gas at stone throwing protesters. Along with the grief, theres real anger that a year on nobody has been held to account for the explosion. Rights campaigners allege that the most senior officials in lebanon were aware of the danger posed by the huge quantity of Ammonium Nitrate Fertiliser stored in the port that caused the explosion.
