The 37yearold pilot from franklinville, new jersey, intentionally flew it here to do training in the murky weather. He was conducting approach training. Its not clear what happened in the. Chopper, but witnesses say it sounded bad while it was still up in the air. The black smoke went up high over route 13. It could be seen for quite some distance. People rushed over to try to help.
