Female poker players on the lookout for competitive and fun-filled tournaments in Las Vegas should consider taking part in the 2021 Nevada State Ladies Poker Championship which is currently running at the South Point Casino Poker Room near the Strip. The event is hosted by the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS).
It started out on April 15 and will run till April 18. In addition to running ladies-only events, the ongoing series also includes tournaments that are open to all, meaning male players can also join in on the action.
Vegas Live Tournament Scene Slowly Reopens
The series has been held annually since 2011, but the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its return to Las Vegas is another indication that the live tournament scene in the city is continuing to recover after being essentially shut down for several months as a result of the ongoing global health crisis.
