For the last several months, the Galaxy Theater has been playing a movie from yesteryear on Sundays and Wednesdays. This week’s ‘Flashback’ is the disco classic ‘Saturday Night Fever,’ in all its polyester glory.
The very talented students in the Carson Middle School Jazz Band have been practicing up a storm to get ready for tonight’s joint performance with the Mile High Jazz Band. Their Jazz Extravaganza kicks off at the Carson City Community Center at 7 p.m.
The day may start out a little drizzly, but that isn’t supposed to last. However, Muscle Powered will opt for the Multi-purpose Athletic Center for their morning walk if the rain persists. Enjoy some old-time music at Comma Coffee: CW and Mr. Spitmore make an appearance during lunch.
