Students returned to campus to pick up their textbooks and take class photos but they are not going to be coming back to campus for the first day of school next week. The district decided it was too dangerous. Teachers however are required to report to their classrooms next week. Describing the pan plan is inflexible and unsafe teachers in san jose unified saying they are confused and angry that the districtinsists they return to their classrooms while students learn from home. Not safe is people want to believe that it is. We are still sharing common space. The district has more than 1600 teachers, but many parents i if handson learning is ss they dont really care where the teacher is.
