Voters approved all school budgets and ballot propositions by wide margins in districts across Montgomery County on Tuesday, according to unofficial results.

JOHNSTOWN The Wells Nursing Home in the city was among the first facilities in Fulton County to receive Pfizer’s new COVID-19 vaccine during a daylong clinic conducted Monday.
Both nursing home staff and residents were among those receiving the vaccine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Wells Administrator Neal VanSlyke.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to have residents get back to normalcy,” he said Monday.
VanSlyke said the vaccines administered Monday by CVS Pharmacy at his facility represents “positivity” being demonstrated in the face of COVID.
The nursing home official said that a couple weeks ago, the Pfizer COVID vaccine was approved by the Food & Drug Administration and a vaccine schedule was commenced with long-term care facilities.
