russians, the russian forces. they don t teach their people like we teach our soldiers how to integrate all the means of applying military pressure, they don t integrate tanks, artillery, infantry, intelligence into one coherent mass in order to overcome enemy positions. they piecemeal everything that they do, and that s been demonstrated particularly around kyiv but also in the east. in addition to that, they don t have an nco corp that s worth anything, they re not allowed to make decisions, and indeed there s middle level managers, majors, colonels, lieutenant colonels, they can t make decisions either and as a result they have to bring generals up to the front lines to change orders and make decisions which is one reason why they ve lost so many general officers. son wht so many general officers

lightyear. the russians are going to have and as i mentioned before, they got a year s long effort to turn the russian military around. i mean the corruption and the lack of leadership and lack of nco corp and training issues and conscript base. these things are going to be institutional changes that i think are not going to be accomplished well in the best possible manner within the course of the decade. i can t imagined it being turned around before that. colonel, thank you so much for being here and we are so grateful for your service to our country. thank you very much. thank you, sir. thank you, colonel. coming up, we ll take a look at the morning papers around the country and willie, what do you have coming on sunday today ?

the above. i mean there is a soviet/russian model of war and i think what we re seeing is that they have never fully modernized, never fully reformed, they don t have an nco corp and so you have generals in battle is a parentally who are being killed and you have a military that is uninformed, unskilled and not motivated as you noted. so, i think there is that combination and then i think what we re also seeing is the effects of corrosive corruption over many decades. where you think that the military supply chain is providing certain equipment but it is actually going into the pockets of generals and others. and so all of that weakens the military effort. and then i think they the russian military and vladimir putin himself completely underestimated the ukrainians.
