The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), in partnership with the Student Conservation Association (SCA), is seeking to recruit a Natural Resource Steward to serve on public lands in the Old Forge area during the 2021 field season.
This SCA internship will start in late May and last through the summer; the end date will be determined by the student s scheduled return to school.
The individual in this position will perform a variety of duties that support the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the area s natural resources, as well as the safety and well-being of the general public using these resources.

Meet at the East Graham Boat Launch parking lot on the north side of Predmore Road in the park s North Unit.
Help us remove garlic mustard that threatens to take over this valuable woodland. Garlic mustard removal is an easy project for the whole family, but we will be covering a lot of ground so come prepared for a hike.
