Elderly couple murdered in Natore

An elderly couple was murdered by unidentified criminals at Jamnagar village in Bagatipara upazila of Natore last night.
The deceased were identified as Amir Ali (70) and his wife Aleka Begum (65), reports our Natore correspondent quoting Bagatipara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nazmul Haque. Amir Ali and his wife used to sleep on the veranda of their house to guard their cattle. They were murdered with sharp weapons, said the OC
The couple s grandson Sumon found them dead after he went to visit them this morning, said police. Police are working to arrest the murderers, said Natore Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha.
