National Peach Cobbler Day is an unofficial holiday that is celebrated on April 13 every year to recognize the delicious dessert which originated during the 19th century.
Cobbler is a deep-dish fruit pie that is covered with a thick crust made from biscuit dough. This wholesome dessert is a part of the cuisine of the United Kingdom and the United States. Though people did not consider cobbler as a fashionable dish to serve to guests for many years in the past, it has now become a popular addition to American desserts.
