You re seeing? give me the broader look at who s calling you and saying i want to run. never done it before, give me some help. well, one of the cool things about this particular wave is that more than half of them are coming from historically red states they know that really? yeah, they know that the odds are long they know it s going to be hard. and they know that for the most part, most national organizations aren t going to be there to have their back now, run for something will. this is our bread and butter, but we are acutely aware that these are long shot races. i think that s worth noting the dynamic, in a lot of these red states, the cities are blue. that s something that scares the republican state legislatures, who understand that their power is waning. we re thinking about how we can help these young folks running in these broader tough dynamics. i m especially thrilled that a lof lot of the folks identify as people of color. they are reflective of their community,
