Killed just blocks away from where were standing, blocks away from the school where he attend. This did happen yesterday around 3 15 in downtown wilmington on Clifford Brown walkway. Heres cell phone video someone inside a nearby State Office Building took police arriving to that scene. The student has not yet been named. We do know that he was shot in the head. He is the second Howard High School of Technology Student to be killed in less than a month. In april, 16yearold amy joynerfrancis died after a fight with classmates in a school bathroom. Three students have so far been charged in her death. The principal posted a statement on the schools website yesterday saying the boy was taken to christiana hospital after the shooting where he was pronounced dead. Today, counselors will be at the school to speak with students and staff who are so affected by, again, this second student death in less than a month.
