NASHVILLE, TN - The Metro Nashville Police Department is continuing its initiative to identify individuals participating in street racing and so-called street racer stunts. Recent intersection takeovers have led to the arrest of 20-year-old Cesar Sandoval, charged with felony reckless endangerment for his alleged involvement as a driver, or as police call him, a “slider,” in a May 2023 takeover of the Nolensville Pike-Elysian Fields Road intersection.
Sandoval was located in Murfr .
As part of Distracted Driving Month, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Traffic Safety Task Force conducted their annual Distracted-Driving Operation Hands-Free bus tour on April 11.
