That total is roughly 60% of the state’s population. Over 351,000 of those people are fully vaccinated, which equates to roughly 26%. Officials say many people who are unvaccinated and eligible to receive one have not signed up for an appointment. Gov. Chris Sununu, state health officials, and private agencies have begun a number of initiatives to encourage New Hampshire residents to get vaccinated. One such imitative is a series of public service announcements and electronic billboards to encourage those who may be hesitant to get vaccinated to change their minds.
