The Centers for Disease Control earlier this month issued revised guidelines for institutions of higher education with one set for those where everyone is fully vaccinated and another for colleges and universities where vaccination against the coronavirus remains requested but optional.
For some, it s a no-brainer. Delaware Valley University in Doylestown and the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, LaSalle and St. Joseph s universities in Philadelphia and Villanova and Gwynedd-Mercy universities in Montgomery County are all requiring students, faculty and other staff to be vaccinated when they come to school for the fall semester.
