Bill G. Chastain Sr., 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. 
He was born to Oscar and Jennie Chastain on Nov. 22, 1934, in Cherokee County North Carolina. He married the love of his life, Nancy Ownbey, on Oct. 2, 1954.
Bill’s life reflected his deep love for Jesus. He was quick to share that love with others. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyal leadership, and integrity. He set an example of sacrificial love by serving his family, friends, church, and community.
After retiring from 30 years of employment with Olin Corporation, Bill continued to work and serve others as he volunteered his time locally, nationally, and internationally through mission opportunities. ....
