On April 15, the Slater library in downtown Jewett City will be hosting the Open House Art show.
The show was originally scheduled for April 2020. But the library closed on March 17 of that year be.
The Ruston Daily Leader took home first place in its division for General Excellence as a newspaper Thursday from the 2021 Louisiana Press Association annual awards, as well as five other first-place finishes and a host of top-three placings.
