In the third quarter 2023, VAMM members including Honda, Piaggio, Suzuki, SYM and Yamaha Motor Vietnam reported selling a total of 610,635 motorcycles of all types, a 3.69 per cent increase compared to the previous quarter. However, members’ total sales in the first 9 months of 2023 of nearly 1.84 million vehicles represented a 16 per cent decline compared to the same period last year.
Contrary to a year ago, a selection of models can now be procured by Vietnamese consumers at prices below those suggested by the manufacturers themselves.
