GMES and Africa Programme’s objectives are to: develop, improve and sustain local, institutional, human and technical capacities for accessing and using earth observation (EO) data and services; contribute to the implementation of the African Space Policy and Strategy; and provide decision-makers end users with needed information and tools.
The GMES and Africa Programe aims to improve the overall capacities to design, implement and monitor national, regional and continental policies so as to promote sustainable management of natural resources through earth observation data and derived information.
